The Viking were brave people who came from Scandinavia. In the 9th and 10th centuries they travelled to many lands including the British Isles. They were violent people and fought with iron swords ans pears. They wore helmets with horns on them. The Vikings invaded Englands in the 9th century when King Alfred ruled the country.
