A woodman worked on the bank of a deep river .Suddenly , hisaxe fell into the water. The woodman cried for help ,because he can't dive in a such deep river . Mercury heard woodman's cries and he appeared before him . He asked him what is the grief , then the woodman said him his grief . Mercury dived in the water and brought two axes , one of gold and oher of silver . The woodman said this axes aren't him . Mercury dived again in the water and brought the woodmans's real axe . The woodman gave thanks Mercury and went to home . There , he told his story to his friends . One of them , tried his luck . He dropped his axe into the river and cried for help . Mercury heard man's cries and appeared before him . The man said to Mercury his grief . Mercury dived into the water and brought a gold axe .The man said this axe is the one which fell into the water . Mercury said him he doesn't tell the truth , and he doesn't receive gold or silver axe ,but neither his real axe .
