Avatar tells the story of a war veteran called Jake, who is sent into a human colony on a distant planet called Pandora. The purpose of this base is to extract and use as many of the numerous mineral resources of the planet. After a series of events that really show them who is on the part of justice, Jake gets to fight alongside natives Na'vi, even against people. Humans created a technology with which they may possess the bodies of the natives, thus taking their control, using them as avatars.
