Hello! I live in Roumania and I like very much the traditions that are here.
The saint Easter is one of the feasts that are here. On Easter, there are a lot of traditions that are very old and they continue to exist.
To paint the eggs is one of the oldest of it. It is made since the 19th century and it represents the grave of Jesus. The colour red is the simbol of the blood that was shed like water by the son of Christ.
In remember of our readers, I wrote that it is celebrated in April, on the third Sunday of this month.
In the end, I say to you that I celebrate this every year with my family and I feel excelent.
